Day 6

Day 6. We traveled through the entire state of wyoming today. It was grueling. I know I hit a point today that I was physically sitting in the car seat and looking at the road, and steering, but I was in a sort of a daze and not really there. I was so tired, I couldn't even think. But we powered on. I wanted so baddly to get ot of that state. It just means that we are now so close to the end of our journey. It's like getting your second wind while running a race. Just when you feel like you can't go on anymore, suddenly you get a burst and you're there. We still have about two hours of driving in Utah, and then all of Nevada, and then we're there!! We got a really nice campsite at a state campground. We are right on a lake and it is just beautiful and quiet and peaceful. The kids had fun playing on the "beach", Simon just loves the feel of the sand. It's really soft and fine, and there are all kinds of rocks and driftwood. It feels good to get off the road and someplace really nice. Dad say's he could live here. He's really happy with it. I guess that's about all for tonight.Oh, it's Joanna's birthday today and I just wanted to wish her a wonderful day and hope to see her soon. I'll try to post again tomarrow. Miss everybody bunches. Talk to you soon.
