Day 5

I was unable to blog yesterday due to an unholy headache followed by a horrendous bellyache caused by the coffee I drank to cure the headache. I went to bed early in much pain. Yesterday, we made it into Nebraska and slept in a cornfield. Not really, but the campground was right on the edge of a cornfield. That's about all there is in Nebraska.(I'm sure the natives would be happy to hear me say that, or they would agree) We woke up this morning to terrible winds. We debated the idea of staying awhile until the winds died down, but they weren't supposed to untill 2 in the afternoon. We'd switched the hitch last night, so the RV is now towing moms car instead of the van. Yea for me!! I'm free...
We just barely made it through Nebraska today, that is one long state. So, we stopped in Wyoming for the night just at the base of the Rockies. Thee owners of the campground cooked a bar-b-q for all of their guests, which included fresh bread, beans, and dessert. Yummy. It's really cold here tonight. Can't wait to be over the big mountains. I'll write again soon.
