Sowhatsthenews?
So,what'sthenews?Idunno. I got my test scores back from the postal exam. I got an 82.3. I guess that translates to a "B" score. So, that part is over, now I have to find out if I can transfer my scores to Ca. At least I passed. I was hoping to do much better than I did so I was a little dissapointed.
Wednesday night we had dinner over at Aunt Sarahs house. I picked the kids up from school and we left directly from there. Sarah made a delicious quiche. It was very tasty. We started on our "sisters" tins(mementos and pictures and journeling all about we three sisters). It's going to be a great keepsake when it's done. I'll take a few pictures and put them up. I think Sarah may have already on her blog. She's "totally crunchy".
This post is being written in stages. The kids have been nuts lately, and I keep starting and then not finishing writting this. So, tonight, the kids have been put to bed early, I've brewed a pot of coffee, and I am going to finish this.
I took the yungins to the doctor today. Simon had his shots. He was not too happy about it, but once he saw the pretzels, everything was o.k. Tabitha was diagnosed with Lyme disease. She's got the bulls-eye on her arm and she'd been running a fever right around the time I noticed her arm. They're giving her a three week treatment of antibiotics, which, they say, works pretty well at treating it, especially if it's caught early. So hopefully she will be alright. Poor little thing.
Tabitha got to go to Crystal Caves today for the field trip at her new school. She said she had fun. She really expected to see sparkly crystals everywhere, but it was really just a cave. I asked her if it was cold inside and she says,"yeah..but not cold like winter, definately not as cold as winter." I thought it was pretty cute.
The kids seem to be doing pretty good at school All the teachers seem really nice. It's good for them to have that expierence. It's also very good for dad to have a break from them. I'm actually enjoying it, I like getting up in the morning and getting us all ready for the day. Oh, yesterday, we were having plumbing problems and couldn't run any water, so I got up for work and went outside and had to wash my hair with the hose in the back yard. It was pretty refreshing. The water comming out of the hose was icy cold. But even at six o'clock in the morning, it was almost eighty with high humidity. It felt really good.
Mom tells me last night that They Might Be Giants are playing in Philladelphia at Penns Landing and it's a free show. I'm there!! It's this Saturday. I have to work in the morning, but I should be off in enough time to make it down there. I asked Sarah if she wanted to go but it looks like she has plans, but Chris would like to go. I'm going to leave Simon with mom and dad and take Tabitha. It will be her first concert. How exciting!! Chris is going to bring Gryphon and it will be his first concert too!! I can't wait. It should be alot of fun. I havn't been to a show in a long time. Tabitha loves the music. She can pick it out when they come on." Hey, it's They might be giants...."
Well folks I think that's the update.
Oh, wait, the house goes up on the market on Friday. So, It looks like the move is emminent. I'm very excited about that. Time to start packing!!!!!!! CAn you hear the excitement in my typing? It also means extended vacation. That's always exciting too. Plus I'll be driving out with the parents so I won't have to drive all by myself. Maybe in my own vehicle, but not all alone on the highway. Yippee yea!!
O.K. that's all. For real. I'll go now. Bye-bye.
