Friends from Afar

Jamie and Natasha blessed us with their arrival yesterday. They've been traveling and making the rounds, and ours was one of them. It was so good to see a familiar face(or two) and a familiar critter. Piglet was with them, she's such a wonderful dog, very well behaved and great with the kids. We sat outside and talked and then we made little pizzas for dinner. We watched some old Muppet Shows and went to bed, they slept down in the basement. They came by work before they left this morning to say good-bye. I feel lucky to have friends like that. They are both so sweet. Hopefully we will be able to meet up again when we get back to Ca.It really was a nice evening, and I know they were grateful to have a place to sleep and friends to spend time with too. It's hard when you are traveling and everything is different and new. It can be exciting but extreamly exhausting as well. I'm happy they came.
