Tattoo-een
Yesterday was the day. It was up early and off to work. The heat was bad and the humidity was oppressive. Normal day at R.A., nothing exciting. Then off, and a half hour later I'm walking through the doors of the tattoo studio. There's a bit of a wait, although I did show up early. I walk back, the stencil is applied(six time's a charm), and the fun begins, starting with my underarm, and working all the way around. Then the filling-in. She gets done with half the band and it's late. I've scheduled another appointment for a week from now, we will finish then. It is so beautiful!!I can't believe how happy I am with it, and it's not even finished yet. There were photos taken: before and during , and I'm sure there will be some of the final result. I'll wait and send them when it's totally done. It feels so good to have it changed. It is now really me. I drew it out, it's my creation, and it represents who I am. Plus, it replaces the face of a man who has done me wrong. I no longer have to get up in the morning and be reminded of his devient ways. I have freed my spirit and am no longer tied to him. I feel a kind of giddy peacefulness. It's good to have a release of pain even if it is caused by pain.
One more day at work and then a day off. What a long week it's been.
